One of the best things about living in London is the easy access to mainland Europe. It's something that in my three years living in London have yet to fully utilise! Having already spent too many hours of my life on the train to Scotland we thought we'd spend less than half the time on a train and go to Paris instead!
Despite the three of us (me, Sam and Fi) all being in the late twenties bracket, we still jumped at the chance to go to Disneyland Paris while we were on the continent!
We arrived late on Friday evening, just in time for a quick drink, and then in the morning we took part in more childish pastimes and went to meet Mickey!
We started with Space Mountain...
and distracted ourselves with selfies in the queue..
...the ears were mandatory!
After our brains were severely rattled from the loop de loop, we went for a stroll to walk it off and got distracted by the hat selection...
gooftastic
and had a spot of lunch...
Before we headed over to Indiana Jones...
and queued some more....
sam and fi getting into character...
hold on tight!
After we finished the first park we moved on to the new Walt Disney Studios next door for more fun!
sam knows how to pump that gas
Our favourite ride was the Tower of Terror....oooohhhh eeerie
sam before the horror!
the elevator that drops 13 floors...
oh why do we do it to ourselves...
we managed to sqeeze in this ride a couple of times and then went back to see the parade to finish our day!
le Mickey!
and then the magic had to come to an end...sad face
bye bye Disney we miss you!
but thankfully we still have our ears!!
