It was yet another cold January evening when the SGP wagon hit us- and when a rather tipsy Christian agreed to put it all on his credit card (temporarily of course!) we thought it would be rude to say no!
Winter thawed and it was finally time to get the party started.
We set off with house pet Geoff in tow...
When we arrived we were all rather taken aback at how stunning the location was...
This years theme was 'superstition'...
but definitely not one for sorrow :(
Ellie rocked out her wellingtons for the occasion...
And we spent the best part of the first day exploring...
in the middle of the lake was the most inventive stage I have ever seen...
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......
Once we had our bearings we started to get involved...
although I'm not sure the boys quite mastered this task...
But when the racquets came out they were all over it....
A friendly game of croquet got serious...
The sun kept shining and the fun just kept on coming...
I took a more leisurely approach..
swinging,'sailing' and more swinging
Time for a drink in the hay...
Or a splash in the lake...
or even a quick nap
Not for long though, time to hit up the pagoda stage...
When the evenings closed in 'The Drop' was the perfect stage to huddle and rave...
When it was finally time to head over to the main stage, we got a little distracted en route...
Who are you all waiting for.....?
Bastille!
The team were loving it
and the search is over...
when the sun had to set eventually we headed over to the 'Dance Off' and carried on to the wee hours...
Until the time came when it was time to say goodnight for the final time....
Thank you SGP you were unreal! Until next year...
